5Excellent Eyewear  Jul 22, 2010
These glasses do the job and they do it very well.

I am one of those people who can`t stand encumbrances of any kind in sports. These glasses quickly (when I put them on) overcame my fears. Featherweight and snug.

An outstanding buy.

2not too happy  Jul 12, 2010
I purchased two pair of these glasses back in January. I travel about 80% of the time so they have not been used too much. Yesterday I went to play a game of racquetball and the glasses fell apart on me. I have no idea why, took them out of locker and a split from the top of the nosepiece straight up to the frame. Not fixable. I looked at the second pair I purchased at the same time, and the same thing is happening to that item too.

I have probably worn these less than 90 minutes each, so certainly not worth the money.

2Great glasses, when they aren't broken....  May 26, 2010
I never write reviews (seriously, this is my first one). With that said, I felt obligated to write this review so you, the buyer, will be properly educated on this product (the Ektelon Strobe Protective Racquetball Glasses). I have owned these glasses for one week and I have used them twice. They did a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes (both times). I attempted to use them a third time but they broke when I put them on. The lens broke right down the middle by the nose guard. I did not apply any pressure other than the normal strength one would use to put on a pair of glasses. I went back and read older reviews and it seems that others had the same problem with these glasses. This has been an issue apparently for some time now (since one of the reviews was from 2008). As of May, 2010 Ektelon has not fixed the problem. Ektelon is a large company so I am sure they will allow me to send them in for an exchange but I'm sure that I'll have to do some creative writing and wait for weeks to get new ones back. If you do decide to purchase these glasses, Good Luck!!!!

4Tight but very good  May 20, 2010
I made the mistake of using a different type of eye protection before I researched why some are better than others. The Ektelon Strobe is by far superior to my old pair but they are way too tight. The discomfort interferes with my game but not having to stop playing to wipe away sweat is wonderful. My old pair fogged up constantly but these have never! I either need to get a smaller head or slowly stretch the ear pieces.

I wish they came in a different color but overall, I rate it high.

4Goggles protect eyes, make nose sweaty  May 04, 2010
I definitely feel safer when I play racquetball. They fit very comfortably and I forget I'm wearing them sometimes. They allow little to no sweat in your eyes, but that's because it angles all the sweat onto your nose. After 20 minutes of playing, I have to stop and wipe the outside of my nose. Then every rally after that. I don't mind that much, but I'm considering the headband option so that will catch more of the sweat.
