 Purchased for Airsoft - Bad for snipers, great for everything else Dec 25, 2009
Bought this item directly from Amazon and as always I'm pleased with their services - this product was delivered properly.
As for the helmet/mask and goggles, they're exactly what I expected:
1. Lightweight
2. Well-ventilated
3. Goggles are clear don't fog-up (even with the attached Vortex II fan turned off)
4. All parts fit perfectly like the lens, rear protector and the Vortex II fan (purchased separately)
I'm currently using this in the Philippines where it can get hot and humid at times. So far I'm very happy with it.
However, just like any good product there are some things that could have been improved:
1. Some parts are permanently riveted together. Would have loved to have removable rivets/screws to clean and repaint this helmet.
2. Lens are firmly fastened to the goggles and taking these out take a lot of time and effort. Some care is also required as you don't want to bend these lenses too much.
Lastly, though this is not a complaint - but more of a note/reminder: this helmet is made for Paintball and not Airsoft and will not allow you to comfortably aim Airsoft Rifles because of the cheek coverage. What I've done to compensate is use high-mount optics. No problems however for pistols and shorter airsoft weapons.

If you live in a hot area, refrain
from using this mask. It could
get sweaty as hell if you're
playing in temperatures in excess of 90
degrees.
However, if you're looking for full
head protection, this is IT.
It's relatively cheap, but don't let
price characterize its quality.
The glasses didn't fog up, and it
was extremely breathable.

I use this for work...I know, a place where I can use this and get paid! It works great and for the price it was a great find. It fits well and is lightweight (compared to the older model I used.) I've used it three times, but seems to be holding up.

exellent full coverage helmet
flexible so it wont chip
not hot-well ventilated
strong and crystal clear lens(will stay crystal clear even after being shot multiple times by a 500fps airsoft gun)
covers ENTIRE head

great mask. can come apart easy and is comfertable. offers great protection. and dosent fog up after heavey breathing. also how often do you come across a camo full face mask?... worth all the buck.
